Ainars Zingniks is a professional wood carver.  He is a builder of historic (Viking) wood boats.  He has worked for 22 years as a teacher in an art school, teaching wood carving and technology 

He participates annualy for over 20 years, sculpting in various festivals; sand, ice, snow and fire sculpture festivals, including other projects in France, Germay, Finnland, Russia, China, Japan, and his native home of Latvia.
