Silas is the son of multi-media artists Ben and Melanie Firth from Anchor Point, Alaska. Growning up in an ice-carving family, he has been carving ice for almost as long as he can remember.  He participated in the BP World Ice Art Championships for the first time in 2011.   

Silas currently owns and operates a small video production companywhile prusuing narragive filmmaking.  You are invited to see more of his work via his website.
