Bio
Edwin and his family come from South Carolina.
Edwin is husband to Leigh Anne Hutchison and father of five, has been a Chef for over 25 years and an ice sculptor since 1997, together they own and operate Ice Age Ice Sculptures of Greenville. Edwin has been a NICA competitor since 2000
Ice Carving is truly a family afair for the Hutcisons, while Edwin is focusing on the carvings, his wife and partner, Leigh Anne is busy editing videos, helping with web cams, and providing carver support. His list of awards is long, and in addition to those he's earned in Fairbanks at the World Ice Art Championships, he has also been awarded:
- Masterpiece Ice Competition; 2010 2nd place and 2011 1st place; The Titanic Ice Competition; 2010 2nd place, 2011 3rd place, and 2012 3rd place with all three years awarded People's Choice; The St. Joe Magical Ice Competition;2011 3rd place,2012 3rd place, 2013 1st place. The NICA National Championships 2012 9th place and 2016 3rd place. Additionally, Edwin is a sculptor for the 2016 Ice Magic Festival and Judge for the Ice Magic Festival Competition in Lake Louise, Alberta.
